I talked to the owners of the Afghan restaurant last week. As religious Muslims, they're all fasting too. That must be incredibly hard working in a restaurant surrounded constantly by food, and you aren't even allowed to drink the water. They agreed to let me do this project on them, however, they asked that I wait until Ramadan is over before I tried to do any interviews with them. Understandable. I haven't been able to think in complete sentences for the last couple of weeks. Well, Ramadan is over on Thursday... until then, I think tonight I will break fast at their restaurant and report on my findings later.
